Welcome to our little blog!

She asked her for his number at a Christmas party at a neighborhood far from his stomping grounds. He kissed her first. We fell in love, and he proposed in August 2014 in Sonoma before she moved to New York to pursue her master’s at Columbia. We got married in June 2015. After a year in separate cities, we are thrilled to start our lives together. We began this blog as a way to share bits and pieces of our newlywed life in Washington, DC with family and friends.
